Payment Policy
All prices shown on our online store are in New Zealand Dollar (NZD). All payments are billed in NZD.
TRU Perfumes offers the following payments options: Pay Pal, Shop Pay and After Pay. The charges for any transactions made on this site are only debited from your card once the Checkout process is complete.
Shipping Policy:
Our Shipping policy is simple as we charge flat $60 New Zealand wide since we ship from Australia. All goods are shipped from DHL Express and are in compliance with DHL Dangerous Goods and Services Policy.
Any additional charges or customs duties and taxes are to be paid by the customers.
Kindly provide valid mobile phone number on the order as all shipping notifications will be sent via text.
Please note we do not ship to PO box and also ensure the shipping address is entered correctly and all details provided. We are not liable for any loss or return orders due incomplete or erroneous shipping address.

Order Processing:
As this is a standard protocol of online shipping, TRU Perfumes reserves the right to request further identification for additional security reference checks such as telephone/ID verification. We also reserve the right to cancel any orders made by customers who refuse to comply with our security reference checks.
Packaging:
All perfumes are bubble wrapped and securely packed inside a fiberboard box to avoid any potential damage in transit. Our packages is in compliance with International shipping for dangerous goods and service policy.
Shipping time:
All goods are shipped within 24 working hours once the order has been placed. During peak times and sale periods, please allow additional time for your order to be processed (thank you for your patience!)
Order Cancellation Policy:
TRU Perfumes does not have a Cancellation policy. However, we can consider cancelling if the order hasn't been shipped.
Before the order is shipped, if you wish to cancel it please call us on +61 466 225 250 and email us on sales@truperfumes.co.nz to confirm the cancellation. Full amount will be refunded if customer has notified us prior to shipping the order. Sometimes emails end up in junk folder hence we request that you follow-up with a phone call if you wish to cancel order.
After the order is shipped: If in the event the aforementioned process is not followed and the order gets shipped, we do not take responsibility of it and we will not be able to cancel /refund the order as we are unable recall the item from DH Express.
Returns:
Our policy lasts 7 days. If one week (7 days) have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. We do not offer a "Return' / 'Change of Mind' refund policy.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with wrapping.
To complete your return, we require your order number that you would have received in your email.
Please send us an email to sales@truperfumes.co.nz with a reason for your return and we will get back to you with a RMA number by email. The email will also state the return address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days. A restocking fee of $25NZD will be deducted before processing the refund.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@truperfumes.co.nz.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Strictly no refunds on perfume bottles that have been engraved.
